Art enthusiasts should mark their calendars for May 30, when a collection of mini masterpieces by artists in Hoi An will go on auction at The Hill Station to raise funds for the Children’s Education Foundation (CEF).
The event, organized by the March Harbour Gallery, will begin at 4pm and will showcase A4 works by various artists, all on the theme of tea. While admiring the art and placing their bids, visitors will have the chance to sample and purchase Vietnamese teas sourced from around the country by young local entrepreneurs. The bidding will close at 7pm. Funds from the sale of the art will go towards education for young girls from ethnic minorities in Central Vietnam.

Farmer's Market
Salt Pub and Restaurant is hosting its 8th Farmer's Market on May 29. The outdoor event will gather young entrepreneurs from across Vietnam to showcase natural, handmade, and traditional products.
There will be 50 stalls at the market, most of them featuring farmers and brands that follow organic agriculture and other sustainable practices in their production, such as reducing waste and plastic. Vsitors shop organic, healthy products right by the beach and purchase food and drinks from the sellers throughout the day.
Kids Run Hoi An 2022
The Hoi An Runners’ Community and ILA Vietnam are putting on a run for children in the Ancient Town to celebrate International Children’s Day. Kids Run Hoi An 2022 will take place on May 29, 2022 and is open for children from ages five to 10 years old. A one kilometer distance is set for children ages five to seven, while children from eight to 10 years old can take part in the two-kilometer race.
The event aims to encourage sportsmanship in children, inspire a healthy lifestyle and build exercise habits. Children will have a chance to make new friends during the experience. Registration opens on May 9, and the registration fee is priced at 200,000 VND.
Hoi An Mindfulness Retreat
Lua Wellness Retreats is organizing a two-day retreat in the Hoi An Ancient Town, featuring mindfulness meditation and yoga, activities in nature, spa treatments, and healthy Vietnamese cuisine.
Sister Vy Nghiem Suối Thương will lead the meditation practices, and Master Asoka will guide participants through yoga sessions. Participants can look forward to practicing yoga on Hoi An’s beaches, sunset biking and kayaking on the river, and other activities such as tea ceremonies and calligraphy workshops.
